Quotes and Accounts

06 How do I get a quote?

Submit a quote request through our website. You do not need an account to request a quote.

Tell us about your research or data needs, and we will review the request and contact you by email to clarify the scope and provide a quotation.

07 Do I need an account to request a quote?

No.

You can submit a quote request without creating an account. An account is only required when you are ready to start an agreed project.

08 How do I start a project?

Once your quotation and scope have been agreed, create an AcadStat account or sign in to your existing account.

Your agreed work can then be started as a project from your client dashboard.

09 What happens after my quote is accepted?

Once the scope and quotation are agreed, you create or access your AcadStat account and start the project from your dashboard.

Your project workspace then becomes the central place for your documents, messages, progress, and invoices.

10 What is the client workspace?

The client workspace is your private area within AcadStat.

It allows you to view your projects, follow progress, access documents, communicate with us, and view invoices in one place.

Time and Fees

11 How long does a project take?

Project timelines depend on the scope and requirements of the work.

Once the scope is defined, the expected timeline is included in your quotation.

12 How are fees determined?

Fees are based on the scope of work and the resources required to deliver it.

This may include research design, data collection, data management, analysis, reporting, or other services required for the project.

A quotation is provided after we understand your requirements.

13 Does AcadStat have fixed prices?

Our projects vary considerably in scope, so fees are assessed individually.

You receive a quotation based on the specific requirements of your project.

Data and Confidentiality

14 Who owns my research data?

You retain ownership of the research data you provide or generate for your project.

AcadStat handles project data in accordance with the agreed project requirements, confidentiality obligations, and applicable data protection requirements.

15 How is my data protected?

Project files are kept within the appropriate project environment and access is limited to authorised personnel.

Research data and project materials are treated as confidential.

16 Will my original dataset be changed?

No.

Original datasets are preserved as received. Working copies may be created for cleaning, processing, analysis, or other project requirements while the original remains intact.

17 How are project documents managed?

Project documents are organised by version so that updates can be tracked without replacing earlier versions.

This helps maintain a clear record of the materials used throughout the project.
